My name is Noah Berkeland. I am a professional Portrait Artist, living in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I have 10 years experience
in portraiture and since graduating with a degree in studio art I have opened up to the public taking on commissioned portrait drawings of both people and pets. I am open to drawing just about any type of portrait, anything from your child's pet goldfish to a family of 8. You can check out my price chart on the ordering page for information on costs. I work mainly with pastels and charcoal as I feel it is the best medium to express the soft subtleties within the forms of my subjects. If you would like to order a portrait of your loved one, all I need from you is a photograph of subject(s) digital or original, and I will do the rest! You can choose from color or black and white as well as any size although I charge a flat rate for any portrait under 30" (in any direction.) My prices include standard shipping through UPS and are fully insured. Matting or framing is not included. When I am finished with the portrait I will email a digital image of the drawing and ONLYthen, after it is approved do I ask for payment. I will ship the portrait along with a smaller quality print of the drawing once I have received payment.
There is no better feeling for me than to see a client with tears of gratitude in their eyes when I reveal a finished drawing to them. I feel very privileged to be able to do something that I love so much, and to share that ability with others is my biggest reward.
